Tom Watson to be guest of honour at Labour Friends of Israel reception
Labour's Deputy Leader has attended previous receptions hosted by the group, famously breaking into song at a 2016 event
Deputy Leader Tom Watson is to be guest of honour at Labour Friends of Israel’s next reception in November, it has been revealed.
The long-standing supporter of Labour Friends of Israel has attended multiple receptions hosted by the group, famously breaking into song with a rendition of “Am Yisrael Chai” in 2016.
Speaking at a Labour Friends of Israel reception at Labour conference in Liverpool last year, Watson said: “I am genuinely proud of each and every one of you for attending this event.
“You know what this means. We know what this means. I stand here as a proud and long standing supporter of LFI.”
