Volunteer Counsellors
North West London; Stamford Hill; and nation-wide telephone counselling service
Jewish Women’s Aid is actively recruiting Volunteer Counsellors for our face-to-face counselling service North West London and in Stamford Hill and for our nation-wide telephone counselling service
We provide free person-centered counselling to Jewish women who are affected by domestic violence and abuse.
We are looking for qualified counsellors (diploma level) who have some experience in working with vulnerable adults, have a good understanding of the Jewish community and are aware of the issues facing Jewish women.
This would be a rewarding volunteering opportunity that would help make a change in the lives of Jewish women.
Counsellors will see a minimum of two clients on a weekly basis to fit around their commitments. JWA offers regular supervision and CPD.
