The Interior Minister had the honour during a brief visit to the capital. The London Stock Exchange Market Open ceremony is a globally recognised symbol of a world class financial and business centre.
It was Shalom’s second visit to London in six weeks following his appearance at the Jewish News’ UK-Israel strategic challenges conference last month.
