We Believe in Israel conference welcomes Chief Rabbi and ex Israeli minister
A major conference on Israel has confirmed speakers including a former Israeli minister and Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis.
The We Believe in Israel conference on 22 March will hear from former Israeli Minister of the Interior Gideon Sa’ar and Shadow Secretary of State for Transport Michael Dugher MP, who is Vice-Chair of Labour Friends of Israel.
Mirvis said the organisers “should be commended for bringing the community together to gain in-depth knowledge about Israel and show solidarity at this challenging time”.
Sessions will include the challenges faced by Israel from the Middle East, Europe and the UK, as well as workshops on campaigning, online activism and countering the burgeoning Israel boycott movement. Speakers include academics, politicians, rabbis, journalists, campaigners, activists and local grassroots groups.
