Tell us some interesting facts about the synagogue
Ealing Synagogue is the last shul before Heathrow Airport. Many current members have been in Ealing all their lives and have seen it go through many changes. It is a strong, vibrant and caring community ensuring that it will continue to provide a religious, social, educational and communal centre for the area for many years to come.
There are weekly services on Friday evenings, Shabbat and Sunday mornings, Rosh Chodesh and all chagim. All congregants are invited to give a D’var Torah each month and men and women have the opportunity to participate more actively in Shabbat morning services. Socially and communally, there are many events such as community lunches every six-eight weeks, monthly AJR meetings, and weekly Israeli dancing.
A film club is being introduced. We have had fashion shows, boat trips, outings and the annual supper quiz is very popular. For a small community, Ealing Synagogue is very active and new members are always welcome.
