WIZO campaigns for Jewish Women’s Week
Women nationwide are gearing up for WIZO UK’s annual Jewish Women’s Week campaign. The campaign aims to raise funds to support WIZO nurseries and centres that have been subject to rocket attacks in Israeli border towns.WIZO ensures these centres remain open by providing secure shelters and trauma counselling for those affected by these continued violent attacks.
Jewish Women’s Week chairman Joanna Wulwik said: “This campaign relies upon our network of volunteers who helped us raise an outstanding £240,000 last year. I am so grateful to all our dedicated captains and collectors who will be knocking on doors again collecting these vital funds.”
