IWD: WIZOUK leads the way with a panel of career women
Professional women speak about their careers at an inspiring evening event
On Thursday 2 March, in advance of WIZOUK’s unique interactive exhibition, The Journey and International Women’s Day (IWD), WIZOUK held an enjoyable and inspiring panel event at St John’s Wood Synagogue.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and sushi followed by the panel discussion moderated by broadcast journalist and former Sky presenter Olivia Wayne. Panellists included Sophie Eden of executive search firm Gordon & Eden, who will be heading up WIZOUK‘s new Professional Women’s Network; Susannah Kintish, partner at Mischon de Reya; and Sarah Ellis and Philippa Ross of fashion and lifestyle blog We Are Twinset.
The panel shared their stories and answered questions about the challenges they faced along their own diverse career journeys and what they thought it takes for an aspiring ‘Woman Leading The Way’ today to achieve her ambitions.
The evening, an event within WIZOUK’s Women Leading The Way campaign, was very well received by the audience, many of whom are part of a new generation of WIZO women supporting WIZO’s 800 projects and championing the empowerment of women. The evening was a great opportunity for networking giving like-minded women and an opportunity to register interest in the business network.
Further information about WIZOUK’s Professional Women’s Network will be available in due course. To register your interest, please visit www.wizouk.org or email emma@wizouk.org
