Finally, a good sign! Your chance to stand up to Jew-hate and win a prize
Jewish News is offering a meal-for-two at a kosher restaurant - up to £150 - for the best banner or sign by a participant at this Sunday's rally against antisemitism
Are you attending Sunday’s rally in central London to oppose anti-Jewish hate?
Well, if you’re waiting for a sign, this is it.
More specifically, those at the demonstration will have the opportunity to win a prize, with Jewish News looking for the best banner or sign by a participant.
The winner will receive a meal for two, up to £150, at the kosher restaurant of their choice.
The rules are simple – to enter, you have to upload your picture to your Instagram on Sunday and tag us, at Jewish News.
The banner/sign has to be yours, featuring you holding it at the rally itself.
We’re looking for originality, humour, and a dash of chutzpah – as opposed to some of the hateful signs and messages which have been seen at various marches and rallies in the capital over the last few years. The contest, of course, is open both to Jews and allies at the rally.
We hope that your message will be one which makes those around you laugh while they simultaneously nod, because it speaks to them.
We look forward to seeing your pictures, and hope that you find Sunday’s event to be a powerful expression of determination, by all present, to confront the hatred which seeks to overwhelm us.
