Zack’s back and makes his point
Hollywood welterweight boxer Zachary “Kid Yamaka” Wohlman made a winning return to the ring following an 18-month injury lay-off.
The 27-year-old claimed the ninth win of his professional career against fellow American Lionel Jimenez on points, in a four-round fight in California.
LA-born, Wohlman had his barmitzvah when he was 20, when he also started attending Friday night dinners. Sporting a series of tattoos – including a Star of David across his chest, referring to his love of Jewish heritage, speaking about his Judaism, he says: “I get that sense of family and community that I didn’t grow up with.”
