British fighter jets to take part in Israel Independence Day flyover
"For the first time in 25 years, 11 fighter jets from foreign air forces, including those of the U.S., UK, Italy, and Germany, will take part," IDF said.
British fighter jets will take part in the Israeli Air Force flyover on Wednesday when Israel celebrates its 75th Independence Day.
The flyover entertains thousands of Israelis from Eilat in the south to the most northern part of Israel.
“For the first time in 25 years, 11 fighter jets from foreign air forces, including those of the U.S., United Kingdom, Italy, and Germany, will take part in the flyover. This represents the cooperation between the countries and their unique relationship with the State of Israel,” the IDF said in a statement.

“The foreign aircraft will fly through Israel’s sky, some of them accompanied by IAF aircraft. This is another expression of the cooperation and close relationship between Israel and the participating countries,” it added.
In the coastal cities, Israelis usually gather at the beach to watch the flyover. Last year, over 100 planes took part on show, including F-15, F-16, and F-35 fighter jets.
The large C-130 cargo and Boeing refuelling planes as well Black Hawk and Apache helicopters also took part in the flyover.
