Can Jack Osborne survive the camp cull ?
The fate of our faith duo - JUBY - hangs in the balance on I'm A Celebrity!
Things have not gone to plan for JUBY (Jack Osborne and Ruby Wax). After 19 days in the jungle, Ruby was out the jungle— and we were so sure she would be queen. But alas, the viewers had other plans.
Her exit hit harder than expected, partly because she’s been brilliant, and partly because she made the camp feel like the world’s strangest therapy group with a lot of rice and beans. Ruby was very sad to go and she said as much, admitting she’d “regressed to the age of three” in camp.
Once over the rocking bridge she told Ant and Deck that her campmates were “family, and I’m sad I’ve lost them,” and for a moment even the cockroaches looked emotional. After crossing the rickety bridge Ruby told Ant and Dec that in camp she “regressed to the age of three” in camp, which made complete sense if you have been watching all the crying, the clinging and the over-sharing. Ruby said camp had become “fantasy land,” adding, “We were just a cluster of loving people. Totally forgot the outside world. We shaved each other, investigated each other’s lower regions. I was checking Lisa’s (Riley from Emmerdale) bowels this morning — doesn’t get any closer. This is family and I’m sad I lost them.”

Angry Ginge summed her impact up best: “Ruby has saved me in this camp.” And not by doing trials or winning stars, but by actually listening to people. It’s no surprise — after stepping away from TV, Ruby earned a master’s degree in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, wrote several books, and has said her psychotherapy work was her “life raft.” It showed. She acted as the group’s emotional anchor.
Now the other half of JUBY is on his own. Shortly after Ruby left, the camp marked what would have been Ozzy Osbourne’s 77th birthday. Jack told the group – “It’s my dad’s birthday today — he would be 77.” They raised a toast without any drink, which would definitely not have been Ozzy’s choice. Jack smiled, but the moment caught up with him and he cried.
Outside the jungle, Sharon Osbourne marked the day too, posting on socials- “My darling husband, I celebrate the day you were born. I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side.”
On Ozzy’s birthday Sharon and daughter Kelly were also in Birmingham accepting the Lord Mayor’s Award in memory of Ozzy. Son, Jack has said throughout his time in the jungle that his dad would have enjoyed watching the show – and now our hopes lie with Jack — the last of our faith duo standing. Will he survive the camp cull tonight? Ruby thinks Ginge will take the crown and for a woman who likes to be right a lot – we’re hoping she is wrong .
