Care home praised for having ‘dealt admirably’ with Covid challenge

An organisation providing home care services to many elderly Jews in London has celebrated being re-accredited as outstanding under a new inspection regime.
SweetTree Home Care Services was among the first to volunteer for the Care Quality Commission’s new pilot inspection scheme, developed in response to the coronavirus pandemic, and came out smelling of roses yet again.
The carers support people with age-related frailty, dementia, brain injuries, neurological conditions and learning disabilities, and this week inspectors said the company had “dealt admirably with challenges posed by the pandemic”.
Co-founder Barry Sweetbaum said: “I was so proud to read the feedback from clients, family members and professionals. We cannot thank our team enough for their incredible hard work and effort.”
