Cheers! Kosher Scotch whisky scoops industry award for first time
DS Tayman picked up a silver award at the World Whiskies Awards for its kosher Scotch offering.
A Kosher Scotch has won an industry award in a first for a kosher Scotch whisky.
DS Tayman, an independent bottler of single malt Scotch, picked up a silver award for its Caol Ila Second Edition at the World Whiskies Awards.
The whisky, which is finished in specially selected wine barrels, has three kosher certifications from the OU, KLBD and Rav Akiva Osher Padwa.
Danny Saltman, the company’s Director of Malts, said: “This award is the culmination of several years’ work, creating a high-quality Scotch that is truly unique.
“We are delighted that our peers and industry experts have recognised our work and we look forward to developing our product lines in the years ahead.”
