Synagogue daubed with faeces in vile Golders Green attack
Excrement smeared on walls and security buzzer as CST steps in to support congregation
Faeces was smeared on the walls and buzzer of a synagogue in Golders Green.
Images seen on social media show excrement on both two outer walls, one marked with a CCTV poster, and across the security buzzer for the building.
The name of the synagogue has yet to be confirmed.
A CST spokesperson told Jewish News it is “aware of an appalling incident that took place at an Orthodox Synagogue in north west London. We are in touch with the location providing them with support. We urge anyone with information to contact CST or the police.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told Jewish News: “Officers are investigating an alleged incident of religiously aggravated criminal damage at a synagogue in Golders Green. This was reported on the morning of Wednesday, 3 September. No arrests have been made at this stage.”
