‘Disappointed’ golfer looking ahead to Tokyo 2020
Laetitia Beck finishes joint-31st at golf tournament in Rio.
Israel’s first golfer at the Olympic Games finished the women’s competition in joint-31st place at two over-par.
The 24-year-old posted an even-par 71 in her first round on Friday, before following it up on Saturday with a one-under-par 70.
She said: “I’m never pleased with how I play so I’m a little disappointed with the final result. I’m happy I had the opportunity to compete at the Olympics and I’m sure I’ll do better in Tokyo 2020.”
