Former student campaigns chief made director of London Jewish Forum
Daniel Kosky, 22, said he was 'delighted and excite' at the prospect of working with City Hall and Town Halls across the capital
The Union of Jewish Students’ go-getting 22-year old campaigns director Daniel Kosky has been appointed the new director of London Jewish Forum.
The Nottingham University graduate, who placed second in Jewish News’ 25-under-25 recently, said he planned to “work with our local communities to boost civic and political engagement across London, Essex and Hertfordshire”.
Kosky has been at the forefront of the Jewish community’s efforts to tackle antisemitism on campuses across the UK, and said he was “delighted and excited” at the prospect of working with City Hall and Town Halls across the capital.
LJF’s Adrian Cohen and Andrew Gilbert said Kosky was “one of the leading young activists in our community,” adding: “We welcome him and look forward to partnering him in our growing work with the Greater London Authority as we respond to the challenges of the pandemic.”

Royal Mail issued a stamp honouring Holocaust hero Sir Nicholas Winton after a Jewish News campaign attracted more than 100,000 backers. Jewish Newsalso produces special editions of the paper highlighting pressing issues including mental health and Holocaust remembrance.
