More than 2,500 people helped raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for 78 charities and schools in this year's record-breaking event
This year’s Maccabi GB Community Fun Run proved to be a record-breaking one as more than 6,500 people turned up at Allianz Park – and raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for 78 charities and schools.
The fifth edition of the event saw 2,650 people take part in the five-distance events – 1km, family favourite 1km, 5km, 5km walk and 10km – as well as a challenging Tri-Run which combined all three distance.
Commenting on what was the biggest staging of the event to date, MGB CEO Martin Berliner said: “This year’s Maccabi GB Community Fun Run was the best yet. The community each year embrace the importance of this event in the Jewish calendar and next year we once again hope to get bigger and better.”
