Jewish News sports star nominated for player of the month
Scott Kashket has made the shortlist of six for the League Two player of December.
Wycombe Wanderers’ midfielder Scott Kashket has been nominated for the League Two Player of the Month award for December.
Named the Jewish News Sports Star of 2016 last week, the 20-year-old, who has been converted into a striker, has scored 13 goals in 15 games for the Buckinghamshire side since joining them from Leyton Orient at the start of the season, his latest being the winner in Wycombe’s 1-0 win at Cheltenham on Friday night.
Kashket’s manager Gareth Ainsworth, has also been nominated for the manager of the month award. The winners will be announced on Friday.
