Charity golf day at The Grove raises more than £23,000.
Young UJIA’s first ever golf day saw more than £23,000 raised for the charity’s vital projects in Israel and the UK.
More than 80 golfers were divided into 20 teams ahead of the Shotgun start and spent around five hours playing at The Grove, in Hertfordshire.
Games included ‘Nearest The Pin’ and ‘Longest Drive’, with prizes, for amongst others, ‘Best Individual’ and ‘Best Team’, awarded to the winners at a ceremony at the end of the day, Jessica Lawrence, Young UJIA Manager, said: “We were so pleased with how successful the first ever Young UJIA Golf Day was. We look forward to doing it again next year, and over the years to come.”
