GOALKEEPER
Adam Zaidman (NL Raiders A) – Kept a well-deserved clean sheet. Great distribution and made a great save in the first half to keep the score at 1-0
DEFENCE
Nicky Cooper (Bayern Mincha) – Played full-back and on the wing, came on as a super sub in the second half and made all the difference helping to keep his side in the title race
Josh Wagner (Faithfold A) – Faithfold’s man-of-the-match, won all of his battles and scored a classy goal which edged him ahead of his partner Johnny Gahan
Doron Shooter (Real Hendon) – Formed an excellent partnership with Martin Smulovitch as they dealt with the Rory Delap-esque FC Team long throws
Richard Stern (Redbridge B) – Stood out at right-back for his side, solid defensively and offered a threat going forward
MIDFIELD
Jono Gaon (London Lions Blue) – Produced a tireless performance, which was rewarded with two scoring well-taken goals
Josh Wood (Hertswood Vale) – Continues to lead the side, produced an assist of the highest quality and defensively, won challenge after challenge
Louie Libbert (Oakwood B) – Recently moved down from Manchester, and fitting into his new surroundings, as put on a starring show
Josh Pugh (Scrabble) – Captain once again led the side superbly and got on the scoresheet to boot
ATTACK:
Jake Gilbert (NL Raiders B) – His hat-trick was a lesson in finishing, but he did plenty of work off the ball for the team too, was a nightmare for the opposition right-back
Brad Wine (Oakwood A) – Was superb, leading from the front, and pulled his team through to help earn them a point
MANAGER OF THE WEEK:
Daniel Shafron (NL Raiders A)
PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Nicky Cooper (Bayern Mincha)
