Raisman claims third medal of Rio Games
American gymnast wins silver in the women's floor event.
Aly Raisman won her third medal of the Rio Olympic Games on Tuesday evening after claiming silver in the women’s floor event.
The 22-year-old had captained the US team to gold in the team event and won silver in All Around event in the first week of the Games, and made it a hat-trick of medals on Tuesday when finishing second in the floor exercise.
She finished the final with 15.500 points, scoring 6.900 for Difficulty and 8.900 for execution. Her compatriot Simone Biles won gold, finishing with 15.966 points, while GB’s Amy Tinker won bronze with 14.933 points.
