Shtisel star Shira Hass teases fans with script for new series
Lockdown halted production on the hit Netflix series, but the cast is gearing up to start shooting again in July
Lockdown has seen cameras stop rolling and sets abandoned, but there may be light at the end of the horizon with Shtisel 3 stepping ever closer to going into production.
Shira Hass, who plays Ruchami Weiss on the hit show exploring the trials and tribulations of a strictly Orthodox family, posted a photo on Facebook of herself holding a script fresh off the printer.
Peeking from behind the stapled pages, Haas – who recently won plaudits for her role in the Netflix series Unorthodox – beams as she teases her fans with the news.

“We can’t wait to start production on #Shtisel3 and see our amazing cast and crew again… it’s been a long time coming, but will be worth the wait!” the caption says.
Production was due to begin again in May, but has been delayed by two months due to the pandemic.
