Southampton and Dundalk await Israeli sides in Europa League
Hapoel Be'er Sheva to face Southampton, while Maccabi Tel Aviv drawn against irish side Dundalk.
Israel’s two sides in this season’s Europa League have been drawn against English and Irish opposition in the group stages of this season’s Europa League draw.
Israeli champions Hapoel Beersheva dropped down into the Europa League after being beaten by Celtic in the Champions League play-offs on Tuesday night, and they were drawn in Group K, where they will face Southampton, Inter Milan and Sparta Prague.
Maccabi Tel Aviv secured their place in the group stage after defeating Croatian side Hadjuk Split on penalties, and they have been drawn in Group D, alongside Russian side Zenit Saint Petersberg, Dutch side Alkmaar and Irish side Dundalk.
