Adam Sandler stars in new Netflix drama The Spaceman of Bohemia
The 54-year-old Unuct Gems and Murder Mystery actor leads the cast in a screen adaptation of Jaroslav Kalfar’s novel
Adam Sandler is heading out of this world and starring as an astronaut in his new Netflix drama.
The 54-year-old actor, most recently seen in the critically-acclaimed Uncut Gems and Murder Mystery has signed on for a screen adaptation of Jaroslav Kalfar’s novel, The Spaceman of Bohemia.
Chernobyl’s Johan Renck will direct, while the script will be adapted by Colby Day.

The story follows an astronaut (Sandler) sent to the edge of the galaxy to collect mysterious ancient dust, but soon finds his earthly life falling to pieces.
He turns to the only voice who can help him try to put it back together – a creature from the beginning of time lurking in the shadows of his ship.
