Amazon and Etsy UK stores selling Palestine Action merchandise
T-shirts for children as young as three years old being sold in support of proscribed UK terror organisation
Palestine Action-supporting merchandise is available to buy on the UK sites of e-commerce platforms Amazon and Etsy, Jewish News has found – including the option of purchasing t-shirts backing the terrorist group in sizes for small children.
The pro-Palestinian group was proscribed as a UK terror organisation on 5 July, following the infiltration of the UK’s largest airforce base and damage to military aircraft. The organisation has carried out a large number of attacks since its creation in 2020; many have targeted UK locations of Israeli defence firms, but Jewish charities with Israel links have also been hit.
Jewish News discovered various tee-shirts, made in both the UK and China and emblazoned with the slogan “We are all Palestine Action”, with starting prices of £12.99, on Amazon’s UK site.
The clothing is available in sizes for children as young as three years old, with one UK manufacturer, Stickytees, also selling graphic t-shirts adorned with the words “Free Palestine End The Occupation” on re-sale platform Ebay.
Online marketplace Etsy, more popularly known for selling vintage and hand-made items, is selling Palestine Action tee-shirts, together with boycott Israel stickers, available in bundles of 25 or 1000 from a seller called ‘undergroundincuk’, which launched on the platform three months ago.
One t-shirt buyer, leaving feedback for the seller, wrote: “Great item. Haven’t been arrested yet but the message is loud and clear. Thank-you.”
Membership of, or support for, Palestine Action is a criminal offence punishable by up to 14 years in prison under the Terrorism Act 2000.
