Kim Kardashian breaks silence over Kanye West scandal: ‘Stand with Jewish community’
Adidas is under heavy pressure to cut ties with Kanye West over his antisemitic remarks.
Kim Kardashian says she “stands together” with the Jewish community following repeated antisemitic remarks made by her ex-husband Kanye West.
“Hate speech is never OK or excusable. I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end,” Kardashian wrote on Instagram, falling short of mentioning West by name.
West has been widely condemned for a number of antisemitic remarks in recent weeks, including threatening Jews with “death con 3” and accusing Jews of “raping” black artists and controlling media and Hollywood.
Over 85,000 people have signed a petition to Adidas, started by the NGO “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, calling on the sports brand to cut ties with West.
