London buses help to spread word about Shabbat UK
Adverts appear on routes in parts of the capital with a significant Jewish community to encourage participation
London and Manchester busses are helping to spread the word about Shabbat UK, with an advertising campaign.
The promotions are adorned on routes that travel through parts of London with a significant Jewish population, including Borehamwood, Elstree, Edgware, Finchley, Hendon, Golders Green and Ilford. They also appear on routes in parts of Manchester.
ShabbatUK is an breaking initiative that seeks to promote engagement with Shabbat throughout the UK, and it takes place on November 11-12.
Thousands of Jews around the country expected to take part.
