Trace your family history at JW3
A new four-part course at JW3 which can also be done online gives you all the tools you need to learn about your heritage
You probably know that at JW3 there are plenty of courses on the current political situation, the Middle East and the history of Jewish people, but did you know that you can now deep dive into your own family history?
Led by professional genealogist Jeanette R Rosenberg OBE, JW3’s brand-new Tracing your Family History course will teach you the fundamentals of genealogy and how to structure your research, keep records and use basic tools to begin mapping your family tree.
Learn how to access key resources and archives, work with family artifacts and explore methods for uncovering and documenting your family’s past. There is also an in-depth session focused on the specific challenges of researching family history during the Holocaust.
Whether you are starting with a name, a photo or a long-held question, this 4-week course will offer the tools to navigate your family’s story.
Tracing Your Jewish Family History classes start at JW3 or online on 29 October but spaces are filling fast. Don’t miss it.
