Israeli Ambassador Mark Regev is to conclude his tenure “later this week”, with his deputy Sharon Bar-li serving as interim chargée d’affaires.
A spokesperson for the Israeli embassy in London made the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday.
Reacting to the announcement, Regev said it had been “a real pleasure” to serve as ambassador since 2016. “I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, and am grateful to all those who were part of it,” he wrote.
