JW3 beach and pop-up restaurant are open for summer

Plus loads of activities for kids on Sundays right throughout the holidays

The start of July means it’s time for the beach… at JW3! Open throughout July and August, the JW3 Beach provides hours of fun right on your doorstep.

What makes this beach different to all other beaches is that it is in the weatherproof Dorfman Piazza, which has a retractable roof and sides. So just like Centre Court, if it rains, you’re covered – literally.

Meanwhile Hampstead Garden Suburb’s popular restaurant Kasa is running a pop-up so you can enjoy a special summer menu in JW3’s café while your kids dip into the paddling pool and play with bucketfuls of sand.

There are lots of activities for children on Sundays throughout the summer – from a traditional disco party to pottery making and upcycling clothes. The full programme is available at jw3.org.uk/beach

You don’t even need to take everything but the kitchen sink with you either – there is a selection of swim nappies (sizes 2-6) and SFP 50 sun cream available to purchase from the Box Office. Plus there’s free parking on the Finchley Road and adjacent side roads all day on Sundays.
